Description
7" (18 cm.) Bisque swivel head with amber-tinted complexion on matching kid-edged bisque torso, brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes, black curvy brows, closed mouth, black mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted white stockings and aqua slippers with pointy toes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1890, attributed to Simon and Halbig. Value Points: very fine quality of bisque and painting, fine antique red silk costume.
