15" (38 cm.) Brown-complexioned paper mache socket head, black tightly curled hair under sculpted red-ribbed stocking cap with turned up edge, amber brown glass inset eyes, sculpted brows, tiny nose, closed mouth with primly-set lips, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nicely costumed in red cotton dress, undergarments. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Leo Moss, early 1900s. Value Points: wonderfully-preserved child with expressive features and rare painted cap.
