24" (61 cm.) Bisque socket head, large brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, very long curly lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with very full outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate. French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with bisque forearms. Condition: generally excellent, original body with original finish, some restoration to fingers on each hand. Marks: Bru Jne R 11. Comments: Maison Bru, circa 1892. Value Points: an especially pretty example of this model with entrancing large eyes and flawless complexion, beautiful antique costume.
