3 1/2" (9 cm.) All-bisque figure of Kewpie with upraised arms, standing backwards on a yellow goose, the goose with orange beak and web feet, Kewpie with classic features of topknot, blue wings, and side-glancing googly eyes. With original red-shield paper "Kewpie" label on front torso. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1920, from original design by Rose O'Neill.
