10" (25 cm.) Bisque socket head with amber brown mulatto complexion, large brown glass paperweight inset eyes, lushly-painted lashes, black brush-stroked brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, row of teeth, pierced ears, black mohair wig, French composition and wooden body with matching amber brown complexion. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Tete Jumeau 1 (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1898. Value Points: all-original unplayed with condition, with beautiful complexion and body finish, wearing factory-original silk striped costume and headband, and presented in original box labeled "Bebe Jumeau" and stamped "mulatre".
