Description
12" (30 cm.) Each is all-wooden doll with painted complexion and facial features, sculpted short blonde hair, swivel head, painted blue eyes, black and red upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, dowel jointing at shoulders, elbows and knees, rivet-jointing at hips, metal hands and feet, painted blue boots. Condition: generally excellent, one has extra pivot at neckline and uncertain if original. Comments: Mason and Taylor, circa 1880. Value Points: wonderful comparative group of the sought-after American dolls, with three variations of hair styles, the trio posed with an early American wooden chair.
