11" (28 cm.) Felt swivel head with center seam,pressed and painted facial features,black shoe button eyes,mohair unruly hair,jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Steiff (button in ear). Comments: Germany,Steiff,circa 1910,the doll appeared in their inventory described as "Anton" from Upper Bavaria. Value Points: in wonderful original condition,wearing fresh original Tyrolean-style costume.
