Description
18" (46 cm.) x 14". A heavy stock box has hinged front which is a gilt-framed portrait of bald-haired man with ruddy nose, side burns and moustache, the painting signed Guy Bert 1630. Inside the box is a paper mache head depicting the same man, with movable glass eyes, hinges jaw, grey hair and brows. Uncertain how the mechanism works. Included is poster promoting "Charlem Le Grand magicien". Sold as is.
