Felt swivel head with lean elongated face, pressed and painted facial features, brown painted side-glancing eyes, painted lashes and brows, closed mouth with pale lower accented lip, brunette mohair wig, muslin elongated torso and legs with hip jointing, elongated felt arms with shoulder jointing. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Italian, Alma, circa 1930. Value Points: rare and wonderful salon doll depicting an Italian nobleman, with extraordinary costume of red and black felt striped appliques, cream tunic jacket with felt fan-shaped appliques, red and black cap, and wide-brimmed hat, thigh-high black boots.
