Description
12" (30 cm.) Of firmly-stuffed golden mohair with swivel head, black shoe-button eyes, elongated snout, jointed limbs, and with internal mechanism which is activated by movement of the bear's arm, causing the bear to perform somersaults. With original Steiff button in ear. Very good condition, some mohair thinning. Germany, Steiff, the bear was introduced in 1909 at the Leipzeig Toy Fair.
