46" (117 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, shaded nostrils and eye corners, pierced ears, brunette hand-tied human hair wig over cork pate, Sonneberg composition and wooden fully-jointed body, antique dress. Condition: generally excellent, body has some retouch, body may be one size small. Marks: 1079 S&H dep 20. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1900. Value Points: rare grand size doll with excellent bisque and painting, the size 20 model is virtually unknown.
