12" (30 cm.) One-piece carved wooden standing figure of child with right arm posed upward and with two extended fingers, sculpted brown flowing curls, inset enamel eyes in deeply set sockets, feathered brows, accented nostrils, slightly parted lips with enamel teeth, blushed cheeks, well-defined body details, original muslin chemise and silk sash and edging. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Continental, 18th century. Value Points: superbly preserved early carved wooden doll with fine original finish.
