14" (36 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, deposed Dehors neck articulation that allows the head to tilt side-to-side and forward as well as traditional swivel, cobalt-blue glass enamel eyes, dark upper eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accented pale lips, unpierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French kid gusset-jointed body with bisque arms to above the elbows, well-sculpted fingers, lovely silk costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1867, attributed to Dehors. Value Points: very beautiful poupee with fine delicate bisque, rare neck articulation, rare body with fine sculpted hands.
