9" (23 cm.) Bisque socket head with untinted complexion, painted red jester decorations, brown glass inset eyes, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, composition body with jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent, original body and body finish. Marks: Steiner Paris A 2. Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1890. Value Points: wonderfully-painted jester features create a charming petite doll, original red silk costume and with antique tambourine with hand-painted designs.
