13" (33 cm.) Seated upon a red velvet-covered base is a bisque head doll with blue glass eyes, painted facial features, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, carton torso and legs, metal upper arms, bisque forearms, holding a decorated wooden guitar. Condition: generally excellent, one fingertip broken, music and mechanism function well. Vichy, circa 1875, when wound the guitarist turns her head side to side and strums the guitar, while two tunes play. Sold as is.
