Description
4" (10 cm.) diam. inside width. The coral velvet bonnet with lavish draping and bows is further enhanced with peach satin ribbons, lace and leathers; preserved in original wooden hat box. A silk label with gilt lettering, "Modes Mlle Winders, 54 Rue St. Dizier, Nancy" appears on the interior of the bonnet, as well as on a paper label of the box exterior. Near mint condition. French, the box is dated 1892.
