12" (30 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, almond-shaped blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accented lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, original muslin poupee body and kid arms with stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: A. Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, his unique poupee model face was deposed in 1872. Value Points: very dear petite poupee with charming enigmatic smile, fine quality bisque and painting; included is French paper mache salon dog with fluffy white fur coat and black bead eyes.
