21" (53 cm.) Bisque socket head with very delicate complexion, amber brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose-blushed eye shadow, brushstroked brows with feathered detail, shaded nostrils, slightly-parted outlined lips, heart-shaped upper lip and scalloped-edge lower lip, row of six tiny porcelain teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, lovely antique costume including ruffled frou-frou bonnet and leather shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: R 2 D. Comments: Rabery and Delphieu, circa 1884. Value Points: rare model with distinctive mouth modeling, her rich brown eyes beautifully contrasting her pale complexion, original body and body finish, original wig.
