17" (43 cm.) Solid domed firm composition socket head, white sculpted highly textured hair with feathered details, painted brown eyes in well defined eye sockets, brown upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, blushed cheeks, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, few cheek rubs. Comments: Munich Art Doll by Marion Kaulitz, circa 1908, her works considered the premiere models of the art character movement. Value Points: rare model of the Munich Art Doll, with distinctive sculpted hair, wearing antique, possibly original costume.
