Description
5" (13 cm.) Each is one-piece bisque depicting a young toddler posed seated, each with different amusing position, each with sculpted and painted hair with topknot curl and expressive face with painted features, including scowling face character with side-glancing fierce eyes, hands folded in fists, and legs askance; anxious faced character with side-glancing eyes and arms held protectively at his sides; and sassy-faced character with head tucked askance, right hand finger held to mouth, and left arm curved at the side of his crossed ankle legs. Each is marked by Gebruder Heubach. Excellent condition. Heubach, from their multi-character series of playful character faced urchins, c. 1910.
