Of light brown felt with center-seam face and stitched mouth,black felt stitched on hair with hand-cut edging,black shoe-button eyes,stitched ears with faux-Steiff button in one ear,jointing at shoulders and hips with sewn-on khaki-green felt uniform and leather-shod over-sized feet. Condition: fair/good,stuffing sunken in fface,some patches on uniform. Comments: maker unknown,likely homemade attempt at emulating the soldier series of Steiff,circa 1930s. Value Points: an interesting model with curious background.
