Delicate pressed bisque socket head, blue/grey paperweight inset eyes with spiral threading and teal blue iris rims, dark eyeliner, delicately painted lashes, mauve blushed eye shadow, feathered brows, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with shaded lips, heart-shaped upper lip, blushed chin, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden eight loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2. Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1877, earliest period bebe from the Jumeau firm. Value Points: rare early model with gorgeous face, bisque and painting, fine antique dress and bonnet, undergarments, leather shoes.
