9" (23 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso with shapely modeling, grey glass inset eyes with darker grey iris rims, painted lashes, brush-stroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, two square cut upper teeth and one lower, outlined lips, blonde mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, modeled bent elbows, curled fingers, shapely muscular legs, painted white stockings, black ankle boots with five laces, tiny ankles. Condition: generally excellent, restoration on right thumb. Comments: Kesnter, circa 1880. Value Points: rare model and size, especially beautiful face.Value Points: fine detail of blushing and accented features, pretty antique costume.
