Description
19" (48 cm.) h. x 20"w. x 14"d. A wooden fort with raised base with paper mache covering on the base to simulate grass and rocky ground, has a long entrance path leading to a drawbridge and arched entrance. The grounds of the fort are enclosed by a wooden wall and arranged at the back are three wooden buildings and towers with painted walls and windows, with painted steeples and towers. Arranged on the tower base are various lead soldiers and horses. The base is designed to hinge open for storage of various components when not in play. Excellent condition. Germany, late 1800s.
