14" (36 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, very narrow blue glass enamel inset eyes, painted brown curly lashes and short feathered brows, accented nostrils, slightly open mouth with outlined lips, row of porcelain teeth, flocked auburn hair, French composition and wooden fully jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SFBJ 227 Paris 4. Comments: SFBJ, circa 1912. Value Points: especially fine detail of sculpting especially of laughter wrinkles and dimples, well-preserved flocked hair, original body and body finish.
