18" (46 cm.) Bisque swivel head with plump cheek modeling on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes, heavily-modeled eyeliners, painted lashes, fringed brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with upturned lip corners, pierced ears, brunette human hair over cork pate, all-wooden poupee body with dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and with and extra pivot swivel at waist and thighs. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Huret, circa 1865. Value Points: especially charming face enhanced by subtle blush on plump cheeks and rounded chin tip, rare deluxe body, wearing fine antique green woolen walking suit, undergarments, bonnet, leather purse with tassels, and (unsigned) Huret leather shoes.
