Description
Of burgundy silk with lavish overlays of embroidered tulle, the dress features long pouf sleeves with wide cuffs, along with matching wide-brimmed bonnet with ruched back panel, lace and feather trim, and stiffened muslin lining, and with a 12" wooden handled parasol with matching silk cover. 5" shoulder width. 3 1/2" inside head width. The costume has been preserved in early heavy card stock box with gilt trim and having small printed label "Jumeau Medaille d'Or".
