19" (48 cm.) The bust of a young child with sculpted blonde hair is posed upon a decorated plinth, the girl with deeply intaglio blue eyes, painted features, closed mouth with a double row of teeth, sculpted ruffled bonnet with yellow streamers, and with highly decorated blouse with gilt highlights, her hand extended in front. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1885, exceptional detail of costuming on the grand-sized statue.
