Pressed bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes with delicate spiral threading, rose-blushed eye shadow, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with very full lips having shaded and accented details, heart-shaped upper lips, defined chin, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, wearing lovely antique silk dress with lace trim, matching bonnet, undergarments stockings, leather shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: A. 9 T. Comments: Andre Thuillier, circa 1884. Value Points: the richly-sculpted features of the rare bebe are enhanced by finest bisque, complexion and painting of feathers, original body and body finish.
