19" (48 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, pale blue glass paperweight inset eyes with darker blue iris rims, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, padded stockinette body with metal armature allowing for articulation, bisque hands, bisque lower legs and bare feet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 4 (head and shoulders) F.G. (shoulders). Comments: Gaultier, with original body by Gesland, circa 1870. Value Points: lovely pale bisque with original rare body, finely sculpted bisque hands and bare feet, antique gown is included.
