Description
24" (61 cm.) Seated upon a wooden chair is a paper mache-head lady with regal pose, brown glass eyes with leather eyelids, painted features, separate bodice which "breathes" up and down when wound, shapely waist and legs, ankles crossed, painted brown gloves, holding lorgnette and fan. When wound, she turns her head, alternately lifts her lorgnette and fan, and music plays. Music and mechanism functions well (eyelids not working), face has been repainted. Vichy, circa 1890. Sold as is.
