12" (30 cm.) The slender-bodied bear has swivel head with elongated snout, black embroidered nose, small amber glass eyes, stitched ears, elongated torso and limbs, muslin paw pads. With original early Steiff button in ear. Good condition. Steiff, Germany, circa 1940, rare thrift variation made for short period only, of which few examples are still extant.
