15" (38 cm.) l. A bisque-head doll with blue glass eyes, open mouth, black mohair lashes, carton torso and legs, wire upper arms, composition hands, silk costume, is holding the wooden silk slats of a wooden two-wheeled rickshaw in which is seated a bisque-head lady with blue glass eyes, open mouth, four teeth, carton torso and legs, holding flowers in one hand and a fan in the other. When wound, the doll pulls the rickshaw along, and the lady sits forward and back, and alternately flips corsage and waves fan. Condition: mechanism functions well, costumes original albeit worn and dusty. Roullet et Decamps, circa 1900. Sold as is.
