18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head with amber-tinted complexion and blushed cheeks, small brown glass sleep eyes in demi-moon shape, black painted lashes and brows with feathered detail, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth with shaded lips, two porcelain upper teeth, impressed dimples, black human hair, amber-tinted composition bent limb baby body, wearing fine antique silk costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: L made in Germany 14 JDK 243 (head) Made in Germany (body). Comments: Kestner, circa 1915. Value Points: very fine quality of bisque with flawless complexion, original body with fine original body finish.
