15" (38 cm.) Cloth doll with pressed and oil-painted facial features and dark brown painted hair with stippled detail on forehead, large grey side-glancing eyes, thick black upper eyeliner, accented eye corners and nostrils tiny button-shaped nose, closed mouth, stitched-on ears, stitch-jointed arms, disc-jointed legs, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: mystery maker, early 1900s. Value Points: beautiful painting on the wide-eyed character with well-defined eyes and rosy cheeks.
