Polychromed terra cotta head, sculpted short black hair with forelock detail of curl, enamel eyes, mouth modeled as though open with two rows of teeth and tongue tip, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, painted black stockings and black shoes with red buckles, wearing original lined silk costume comprising short pants and matching jacket with gilt braid trim, fitted brocade vest. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, early 1800s, charming gentleman with original silk salon costume.
