18" (46 cm.) All-cloth doll with swivel head,pressed and painted facial features and complexion,blue eyes,brown upper eyeliner,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with very full lips,brunette bobbed human-hair wig,muslin body with stitch jointing at shoulders and hips. Marks: (original Kampes stamp on torso). Condition: generally excellent,shelf dusty,original painting well preserved except small rub on bottom lip. Comments: "Kamkins",circa 1930. Value Points: the hard-to-find studio doll of Louis Kampes has its original brown woolen coat and matching brimmed hat,brown short pants,socks,and leather shoes.
