Description
8 1/2" (22 cm.) One-piece bisque head and torso, sculpted short bobbed hair and bangs, intaglio tiny brown side-glancing eyes with white eye dots, short brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with prim expression, loop-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted white socks and brown shoes with sculpted brown bows. Condition: generally excellent, repair on upper left leg. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, one of a trio of dolls introduced by the firm in 1913 as "Our Golden Three". Value Points: excellent detail of sculpting and expressive features on the rare little doll.
