Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Q made in Germany 20 Germany 142 (head) Excelsior Germany 9 (body). Comments: Kestner, circa 1890. Value Points: rare grand size with excellent bisque, original body and body finish, antique sailor costume.
