Bisque socket head, large blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes with dot highlights, mauve blushed eye shadow, brush-stroked and feathered brows, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with primly-set outlined lips, impressed dimples at lip corners, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over Steiner pate, Steiner composition fully-jointed body, with straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent, tiniest pinflake on bottom left eye rim, near mint original body. Marks: Sie C 6. Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1882. Value Points: gorgeous doll with finest bisque and painting, most appealing expression, original body and body finish, superb white pique costume with intricate padded satin-stitch embroidery, bonnet, undergarments, kidskin boots with pom-pom trim impressed with full figure of doll.
