12" (30 cm.) Bisque socket head with flattened solid dome, sienna complexion, brown glass inset eyes, black painted brows and lashes, closed mouth with accented lips, pierced ears, russet-brown mohair wig in long braids, five-piece sienna composition body with painted yellow shoes, original (frail) costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 244 0. Comments: Bahr and Proschild, circa 1890. Value Points: artful strong sculpting of features especially of strong nose and jawline, original body and body finish.
