Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate with modeled bosom and shoulderblades, large brown glass enamel inset eyes, thick eyeliner, dark painted lashes, brushstroked and multi-feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with modeled space and tiny tongue tip between the shaded lips, defined philtrum and dimpled chin, pierced ears, brunette hand-tied human hair wig, kid body with scalloped collarette, hinged kid-over-wooden upper arms and legs, hinged wooden lower legs, bisque forearms, antique chemise, coiffure, lace dress includes, leather shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Bru Jne 10 (head) Bru Jne N.10 (shoulderplate) Bebe Bru No 10 (blue stamp on body). Bebe Bru Bte SGDG (paper label on body). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, circa 1884. Value Points: outstanding sculpting and quality of bisque are enhanced by the pristine condition, very sturdy original body and bisque hands.
