20" (51 cm.) Pink-tinted bisque socket head with plump round face, large blue glass googly eyes that "flirt" by movement of wire lever at the back of the head, dark eyeliner, very pronounced smokey upper eye shadow, shaded smoky brows with feathering, rounded nose, closed mouth with wide smile, upturned lip corners, auburn mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing. Condition: generally excellent, hands not original. Marks: Einco 9 Germany Heubach (in square). Comments: Gebruder Heubach for Eisenmann exporters, circa 1917. Value Points: with distinctive modeling, painting accents, and unusual centered irises enhancing the well-functioning flirty eyes, wonderful antique costume.
