11" (28 cm.) Bisque socket head, deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner and lushly-painted curly lashes, brushstroked brows, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette hand-tied human hair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, lovely antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2 (head, and faint artist marks). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1886. Value Points: especially fine painting of facial features especially of lashes and lips, and fine gleaming complexion on the petite bebe.
