Description
40" (102 cm.) Poured wax head on mannequin torso with black stockinette cover and cast iron feet, blue glass inset eyes, closed mouth, rooted hair in distinctive side-part style. Condition: very good, few lines in wax. Comments: late 1800s, included with the mannequin is an old hand-written note indicating the figure represents Prince of Wales (later King George V), and photographs of that young man closely resemble the mannequin. Value Points: handsome young man wearing finely made linen frock coat and trousers.
