Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,large brown glass paperweight inset eyes,thick dark eyeliner,painted lashes,brush-stroked and feathered brows,accented eye corners and nostrils,closed mouth with richly shaded lips,pierced ears,brunette human-hair wig over cork pate,kid poupee body with shapely torso,gusset jointing at elbows,hips and knees,stitched and separated fingers,wearing fine antique brown velvet gown,undergarments,stockings,shoes,and fancy woven bonnet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 6 (and artist checkmarks on head). Comments: Emile Jumeau,circa 1880,the facial model evolved into the early period bebe by Jumeau. Value Points: pristine condition of the wide-eyed poupee,with immaculate original body,lovely costume.
