25" (64 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, mohair lashes, painted lower lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, brunette human hair wig in upswept manner, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with shapely torso and elongated limbs, fine antique Edwardian costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S&H dep 1159 Germany 10 (head) Bebe Jumeau Diplome d'Honneur (body). Comments: Simon and Halbig for the French market, circa 1910, the doll was presented by Jumeau and later appeared in the 1912 SFBJ catalog. Value Points: very elegant lady with fashionable pose and costume of the early 1900 era, with choice bisque and original body.
