6" (15 cm.) An enclosed sedan chair ("Chaise a porteur) has three windows with gracefully curved sides, golden velvet seat on the silk-lined interior, and is wonderfully painted with enamel scenes of cherubs at play along with garlands of flowers and leaves. Excellent condition. French, circa 1880, a rare size of the desirable accessory. Ex-Puppen & Spielzeug Museum.
