16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head with whitened clown complexion, painted clown decorations, blue glass sleep eyes, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SFBJ 301 Paris 5. Comments: SFBJ, circa 1915. Value Points: wearing factory-original ivory silk and lace costume with black pom-poms, matching shoes and cap, carrying tortoise mandolin.
