15" (38 cm.) Paper mache shouder head with deeply-sculpted short black curly hair with stippled details onto the forehead, inset black glass eyes, painted all-around lashes, single stroke brows, closed mouth, rosy cheeks, muslin stitch-jointed body. Condition: fine original finish on head and face, restoration on shoulderplate, original body. Comments: Germany, circa 1860. Value Points: rare model with superb preservation of deeply-sculpted hair and glass eyes.
